Experience

I have taught kindergarten at McKenzie Elementary for 14 years.  I enjoy working with children this age because you can see a tremendous amount of growth over the course of the school year.  I love to see how much they can learn and develop for the year that I have them.  I try my best to give my students a love of learning that will continue after they leave me!

Bio

I am originally from Huntingdon, where I attended school.  I previously had a career in automobile financing and lived and worked in Jackson, Chattanooga, and Nashville.  In 1997,  I moved back to Huntingdon to be closer to my family.  I have twin daughters, Anna and Rachel, who are 23.  I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family I love teaching Kindergarten because the students grow, change, and learn so much.  This first year of school is so vital to their future, and I love the challenge of making it meaningful!
