UPDATE: MES Heating Units
Posted On:
Monday, November 17, 2014

Parents,

We appreciate your support as we work to repair heating units.  Just to keep you updated, several heating units were repaired over the weekend.   Our maintenance department has been working almost non-stop, along with other HVAC technicians in our community, to repair units.   Parts have been ordered and units will continue to be repaired as parts arrive; this process will take several days.   There are no units being used that are unsafe.  Portable heaters have been placed in those classrooms where heating units are still in need of repair.

We do have carbon monoxide detectors in each classroom.

The outside temperature for tomorrow is expected to be lower than normal.   We are suggesting your child have a jacket as some areas of our building will be cooler than normal.

Feel free to contact Mr. Lynn Watkins, Director of Schools, 352-2246, with any questions.

Thank you for your patience and support!  As always, our students and staff safety is our number one priority.

Mrs. Amanda Batts

Principal
