16 years General Practrice Family as Clinic nurse doing general nursing assessments peds to geriatrics, lab draws, office surgeries.

8 years of Home Health/Hospice, educating patients/families, general nursing assessments of patients, drawing labs, IV and port care.

5 years on a Surgical Floor at a Jackson Hospital, pre and post-op care for general surgery, orthopedic primarily with a few other specialties occassionally.

4 years at a Urology clinic, doing multiple urology procedures, pre and post-op care.

Also occassionally worked part-time in general hospital settings, nursing home.

 Began as school nurse at MES 12/13/2019.

Married on May 10,1975 to my husband Dennis Edwards. We have 2 children Jason Edwards and Chandra Edwards Pate. Love to cook, can and freeze veges, gardening, play and run around with our 4 grandchildren, Daniel Edwards, Jaden, Olivia-Kay and Sophie Pate. Since the mid 1980's I've worked with youth of all ages through church, with the last 13 years in nursery at First Baptist Mckenzie. Also like to sew when I have time. Teaching these hobbies to my grandchildren is how I spend a lot of my free time.
