I am a McKenzie graduate. I earned my degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I continue my education through teacher inservices and workshops to better serve my current students.

I taught Kindergarten for three years before moving to second grade in 2008. I taught second grade from the 2008-2009 school year until the end of the 2011-2012 school year. This year is my eighth year teaching 4th grade.  I teach Reading, Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies.

I live in McKenzie with my husband, Justin .  We have four daughters Karli, Kassidy, Kortnee, and Kynadie.  I have taught at McKenzie Elementary School since August of 2005. My family enjoys sports. Three of my daughters are active in softball. I have one daughter that plays soccer and softball and one that enjoys football and softball. Our other daughter enjoys singing.
